Condition: Extremely clean, late model 2023 used system.  System was throughly cleaned, sanitized, and tested.  All module & accessory functions have been tested and are in good working condition. Sensors were tested, and gave results within the expected range.  Modules were tested for all functions, ie: pumps, measurement, agitation, gassing, temp.  All modules are configured in DASWare, and functioned properly.

Module connections will come with labels on I/O ports and cables to help facilitate wiring for simple installation.  v6 Win 10 Process PC has a DASWare Control 6.3 license for a 4-fold DASbox system. Setup process, including initial calibration procedure is detailed in the manuals.  

The process PC has database configurations for both single-use, and mutli-use systems.  Please inquire if you are planning on using this for MU, and we can advise on what additional accessories and components you will need.  Single-use can use optical or standard glass ph probes w/ an added compression adapter.

Description:

The Eppendorf DASbox Mini Bioreactor System is built for small-volume process development where control, speed, and reproducibility matter. Designed as a parallel bioreactor platform, the DASbox allows users to run multiple experiments side by side while maintaining precise control over key process parameters. Eppendorf positions the system for research and development in small working volumes, with support for both cell culture and microbial applications, making it a strong fit for screening studies, process optimization, Design of Experiments work, and scale-down modeling.

This configuration is especially well suited for cell culture labs that want the efficiency of parallel development without the footprint of a larger bench-scale system. The installed setup includes a 4-fold DASbox base, single-use 0.3 L vessel compatibility, magnetic overhead drive, peltier-based liquid-free heating and cooling, optical pH capability, and a Windows 10 process computer with DASWare Control 6.3. In this format, the system offers a compact way to compare media, gassing conditions, agitation settings, and other process variables across multiple runs while conserving cell material and media volume. 

A major advantage of the DASbox platform is flexibility. The system can be operated with reusable glass or BioBLU single-use bioreactors and highlights easy conversion between the two formats.
