GE AKTA Explorer 100 FPLC System

Includes:

• CU-950 control box
• Box-900 drawer w/ tray
• pH/C-900 pH and conductivity monitor
• UV-900  multi-wavelength UV-Vis monitor
• P-900 Pump

Condition:  Parts Only, AS-IS

• "Stack" (Cu-950, BOX-900, pH/C-900, UV-900, P-900)devices all pass self-test.

• Controller turns on and talks to the system. Controller can talk to a host PC.

• A/B valves appear to work correctly.

• Pump pistons and heads appear to seal and work correctly.

• Performed basic internal and external cleaning of all parts and fittings to remove process materials and any solvents.

Known Issues:

• Valve 1 has bad motor. Responds to system command but doesn't rotate as it should. Valve rotor and head may also be defective, could not test.

• Valve 5 has bad motor. Responds to system command but doesn't rotate as it should. Also has damaged valve head- fitting disintegrated in the #1 position and can't be fully removed. Valve rotor may also be defective, could not test.

• pH sensor does not work correctly. 

• Drain finish area and rear plastic near nameplate are corroded (see pictures for details). 

• Other issues may be present.
